This includes family support counseling, crisis intervention, healthcare, grief ministry, religious sacramental ministry, staff counseling and education. Chaplaincy services are offered in various settings such as military, eldercare homes, correction centers, hospitals, counseling centers, religious institutions etc. There is a huge demand for qualified pastorals in various settings and the job outlook is quite bright. The average salary for staff chaplains is approx. $45,000 per annum. Senior chaplains and religious heads earn up to $80,000 yearly.
