Program Title: Pathway to paralegal certification
Description: If you already have a bachelor’s or an associate level degree and wish to enter into the legal profession, this is the course for you. Students will develop an understanding of the litigation processes, fact gathering and investigation, case management, pleadings, trial preparations an so on. Paralegals are a group of people who assist attorneys in the delivery of legal services. They are involved in researching, drafting legal documents, preparing pleadings, summarizing proposals, organizing trial notebooks, and interviewing clients. The course also teaches the use of computers in law office administration.
